What to expect

ELEMENTS is an intimate five course conversation between art, food, and self.

Inspired by Ghanaian mixed media artist Kwame Alorlete Akpokavi’s Elements collection, Chef Awo transforms the collection’s four forces, Fire, Air, Vegetation, and Water, into a five course tasting experience rooted in Ghanaian ingredients, seasonality, memory, and storytelling. The journey culminates in the fifth element, Self, where the four elements converge and invite us to consider how the land, our environment, our experiences, and one another shape who we become.



Hosted at Kwae Terrace in Accra, guests will experience Kwame’s artwork alongside Chef Awo’s culinary interpretations, with each course revealing another layer of the story. Throughout the evening, thoughtful conversation prompts will invite guests to look closer, taste with curiosity, and engage with the people around their table. ELEMENTS is not simply dinner beside art. It is an invitation to experience one story through two creative languages, and perhaps leave seeing both food and art a little differently.
