Whether piquing the interest of first-time guests who’ve never experienced the richness of West African food or delivering beloved favorites to those who have a deep connection to the culture, Eh’vivi consistently delivers a high-quality food experience that delights. 

"Growing up in Ghana, food has always been an integral part of my upbringing. You could never come to my house and leave without my grandma or mom stuffing you with so much food you could barely walk! That was where I learned the joy and satisfaction of feeding people."


Through culinary expertise and a deep commitment to sustainable, locally sourced products, Eh’vivi offers flavorful, healthy, comfort food that tastes good, is good for you and that you can feel good about enjoying. 


Chef Awo
Chef Awo began cooking around the age of seven years old when her aunt was visiting Ghana after an extended time in California. Her aunt requested that she makes her a special meal. Awo recalls the excitement of meal planning and preparation for her first prepared dish of boiled cocoyams with Palava Sauce (a palm oil-based sauce). After savoring every bite, her aunt told her how much she enjoyed the meal; and from there, her passion was ignited. The deep sense of pride and self-accomplishment catapulted her into the kitchen to shadow her grandmother and mother, inquiring, learning and testing all of the knowledge they imparted to her.
